En mann og en kvinne hadde lenge ønsket seg et barn. Kvinnen håpet at de snart skulle få et. Fra et lite vindu bak i huset kunne de se en vakker hage med blomster og urter. Rundt hagen var det en høy mur. Ingen turte å gå inn, for hagen tilhørte en mektig trollkvinne.
English translation
A man and a woman had wanted a child for a long time. The woman hoped they would have one soon. From a small window at the back of the house, they could see a beautiful garden with flowers and herbs. A high wall surrounded the garden. No one dared go in, because the garden belonged to a powerful witch.
