Κάποτε ένας άντρας και μια γυναίκα ήθελαν πολύ να αποκτήσουν ένα παιδί. Περίμεναν πολλά χρόνια, αλλά δεν είχαν παιδί. Τελικά, η γυναίκα άρχισε να ελπίζει πως ο Θεός θα τους έδινε σύντομα ένα.
Once upon a time, a man and a woman very much wanted to have a child. They waited for many years, but they had no child. At last, the woman began to hope that God would soon give them one.

At the back of their house there was a small window. From there they could see a beautiful garden full of flowers and plants. A high wall surrounded the garden. The garden belonged to a powerful witch. Everyone feared her, and no one dared go inside.
