Scene 1 · Intermediate
Once upon a time there was a sweet little girl who was loved by everyone who saw her. Her grandmother loved her most of all and was ready to give her anything.
One day her grandmother gave her a little red velvet cap. It suited her so well that the little girl no longer wanted to wear any other cap. So everyone began to call her Little Red Riding Hood.

Read a passage for its overall meaning, then return to unfamiliar expressions with the English translation and audio. Compare the Beginner edition when you want a gentler read.
