Era odată o fetiță pe care o iubeau toți cei care o vedeau. Bunica ei o iubea cel mai mult și i-ar fi dat orice. Într-o zi, i-a dăruit o scufiță, o căciuliță de catifea roșie.
Once upon a time, there was a little girl whom everyone who saw her loved. Her grandmother loved her most of all and would have given her anything. One day, she gave her a little hood, a red velvet cap.
Fetiței îi stătea atât de bine cu ea, încât nu mai voia să poarte altceva pe cap. De aceea, toată lumea îi spunea Scufița Roșie.
It suited the little girl so well that she no longer wanted to wear anything else on her head. That was why everyone called her Little Red Riding Hood.
