A fost odată o fetiță drăgălașă, pe care o îndrăgeau toți cei care o vedeau. Nimeni însă n-o iubea mai mult decât bunica ei, care i-ar fi dăruit orice.
Once upon a time there was a sweet little girl whom everyone who saw her was fond of. But no one loved her more than her grandmother, who would have given her anything.
Într-o zi, bunica i-a făcut cadou o scufiță din catifea roșie. Îi venea atât de bine, încât fetița nu mai voia să poarte nimic altceva pe cap. De atunci, toată lumea a început să-i spună „Scufița Roșie”.
One day, her grandmother gave her a little red velvet cap. It suited her so well that she no longer wanted to wear anything else on her head. From then on, everyone began calling her “Little Red Riding Hood.”
