Town Mouse visits the country

Een stadsmuis ging op bezoek bij zijn neef op het platteland. Zijn neef was een veldmuis die eenvoudig leefde. Hij was blij om de stadsmuis te zien en ontving hem hartelijk. Hij had alleen bonen met spek, kaas en brood, maar hij deelde zijn eten graag met zijn neef.

A city mouse went to visit his cousin in the countryside. His cousin was a field mouse who lived simply. He was happy to see the city mouse and welcomed him warmly. He had only beans with bacon, cheese, and bread, but he was happy to share his food with his cousin.
