Gott formt Adam aus Staub
God forms Adam from dust
English translation
This story tells how God made heaven and earth. At first, no plants were growing in the fields. God had not yet sent rain, and there was no one to work the ground. But mist rose from the earth and made all the ground damp.
English translation
God formed a man from the dust of the ground: Adam. He breathed the breath of life into his nostrils. That is how Adam came to life.
