Jesus went with his disciples, the men who followed him, to a place called Gethsemane. He asked them to sit there while he went to pray.
Jesus levou Pedro e os dois filhos de Zebedeu para mais perto dele. Estava muito triste e sofria muito.
Jesus took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee closer with him. He was very sad and suffering greatly.
— Estou tão triste que sinto que vou morrer — disse Jesus. — Fiquem aqui e continuem acordados comigo.
“I am so sad that I feel I am going to die,” Jesus said. “Stay here and keep awake with me.”
