Jesus kommt mit seinen Jüngern an einen Ort namens Gethsemane. Er sagt zu ihnen: „Setzt euch hierhin. Ich gehe dort drüben beten.“ Petrus und die beiden Söhne des Zebedäus nimmt er mit.
Jesus arrives with his disciples at a place called Gethsemane. He says to them, “Sit here. I’m going over there to pray.” He takes Peter and the two sons of Zebedee with him.
Jesus ist sehr traurig und erschrocken. Er sagt zu den drei Jüngern: „Ich bin so traurig, dass ich es kaum ertrage. Bleibt hier und bleibt mit mir wach.“
Jesus is very sad and frightened. He says to the three disciples, “I am so sad I can hardly bear it. Stay here and stay awake with me.”
