English translation
“My child, be good and trust in God. He will always protect you. I will watch over you from heaven and stay close to you,” she tells her.

Poi chiude gli occhi e muore. La ragazza va ogni giorno sulla tomba della madre e piange. Continua a essere buona e a pregare. Durante l'inverno la neve copre la tomba. In primavera la neve si scioglie e il padre si è già sposato con un'altra donna.
English translation
Then she closes her eyes and dies. The girl goes to her mother’s grave every day and cries. She continues to be good and pray. During the winter, snow covers the grave. In spring, the snow melts, and her father has already married another woman.
