How Red-Cap got her name

Italian

C'era una volta una bambina dolce e gentile, a cui tutti volevano bene. La nonna, soprattutto, l'adorava e le avrebbe regalato qualsiasi cosa. Un giorno le regala un cappuccetto di velluto rosso. Le sta così bene che da quel momento la bambina vuole indossare soltanto quello. Per questo tutti cominciano a chiamarla Cappuccetto Rosso.

Frequently asked questions

Are these B1 or B2 Italian stories?

Intermediate is LingoPlasty’s most detailed story band, rather than a formal B1 or B2 classification. If you study at B1 or B2, use the sample to judge the reading challenge. The same story may be available at Beginner if you prefer more support.

Can I read and listen with English translations?

Yes. The stories combine the language you are learning with English translations and scene audio. Approved opening-scene previews can be read and played without an account; the full reader lets you choose how to display the English.

Are these stories free?

Cards marked Free can be read in full with a free account. Other full stories require membership. Any sample shown on this page is free to try without signing in.

How do I choose the right difficulty?

Try an opening scene. Choose a version whose plot you can follow without checking the translation after every sentence. Move to an easier edition when reading feels tiring, or try a more detailed edition of a story you already know.
