Sorg i Getsemane

Sorrow in Gethsemane

Danish

»Sæt jer her, mens jeg går lidt længere hen for at bede,« sagde Jesus.

English translation

Jesus and his disciples came to a place called Gethsemane. “Sit here while I go a little farther to pray,” Jesus said. He took Peter and Zebedee’s two sons with him. As grief and anguish took hold of him, he said to them, “I’m so weighed down by grief that I feel as if I’m going to die.”

Danish

Bliv her, og hold jer vågne sammen med mig.«

English translation

“Stay here and stay awake with me.”
