Jesus arrived with his disciples at a place called Gethsemane. There he told them: “Stay here while I go farther on to pray.”
I-a luat cu el pe Petru și pe cei doi fii ai lui Zebedeu. Începuse să simtă o tristețe adâncă și era foarte tulburat.
He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee with him. He began to feel deep sadness and was greatly troubled.
— Tristețea îmi copleșește sufletul, de parcă aș fi aproape de moarte, le-a spus el. Rămâneți aici și vegheați împreună cu mine.
“My soul is overwhelmed with sadness, as if I were close to death,” he told them. “Stay here and keep watch with me.”
