Sorrow in Gethsemane

Jezus przyszedł z uczniami do miejsca zwanego Getsemani.

Jesus came with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane.

– Usiądźcie tutaj, a ja pójdę tam się pomodlić – powiedział.

“Sit here while I go over there to pray,” he said.

Zabrał ze sobą Piotra i dwóch synów Zebedeusza. Ogarnęły go smutek i głęboki lęk. Zwrócił się do tych trzech uczniów: – Czuję tak ogromny smutek, że jestem bliski śmierci. Zostańcie tutaj i czuwajcie ze mną.

He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee with him. He was overcome with sadness and deep fear. He spoke to the three disciples: “I am so deeply sad that I feel close to death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”
