Karen édesanyjának temetése
Karen's mother's funeral
Hungarian
A kemény cipő miatt piros lett a lába.
English translation
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful little girl named Karen. She was very poor. In summer, she went barefoot, and in winter she wore large wooden clogs. The hard shoes made her feet red.
English translation
An old shoemaker and his wife lived in the village. The woman sewed a pair of shoes for Karen from old red fabric. The shoes did not turn out very pretty, but the woman wanted to help the little girl.
English translation
Karen wore the new shoes for the first time at her mother’s funeral. The red color was not suitable for a funeral, but she had no other shoes. So she walked behind her mother’s coffin.
