Et mærkeligt gult æg

A strange yellow egg

English translation

One day, a farmer went over to his goose. In the nest was a shiny yellow egg. He picked it up and felt that it was very heavy. He thought someone was playing a trick on him, so at first he wanted to throw the egg away.

English translation

But he took it home anyway. He discovered that the egg was made of pure gold and was very happy. Every morning, he found a new golden egg in the nest. He sold the eggs and soon became rich.
