Un ou galben ciudat

A strange yellow egg

Romanian

Când l-a ridicat, a simțit că era foarte greu.

English translation

One day, a farmer went to his goose’s nest. There he found a yellow, shiny egg. When he picked it up, he felt that it was very heavy. He thought someone was trying to trick him and wanted to throw the egg away.

English translation

Still, he thought it over and took it home. Soon, to his great joy, he discovered that the egg was pure gold. Every morning, he found a golden egg. He sold them and soon became rich.
