Gud former Adam av støv
God forms Adam from dust
English translation
This is how the heavens and the earth came to be when God created them. Nothing was growing in the fields yet. No plants had sprouted, because God had not made it rain and there was no one to work the soil. But a mist rose from the ground and watered the whole surface of the earth.
English translation
God formed a man, Adam, from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into his nostrils, and Adam became a living human being.
