Esta é a história de como surgiram os céus e a terra, quando Deus os criou. Naquele tempo, ainda não havia plantas nos campos, nem a erva tinha brotado. Deus ainda não havia feito chover, e não existia homem para cultivar a terra. Uma névoa, porém, subia do chão e umedecia toda a superfície do solo.
English translation
This is the story of how the heavens and the earth came into being, when God created them. At that time, there were no plants in the fields yet, nor had the grass sprouted. God had not yet made it rain, and there was no man to cultivate the ground. But a mist rose from the earth and moistened the whole surface of the soil.
