Très loin dans l'océan, l'eau est bleue et claire. La mer est si profonde que des clochers posés les uns sur les autres n'atteindraient pas la surface. Le roi de la mer y vit avec son peuple.
Far out in the ocean, the water is blue and clear. The sea is so deep that even church towers stacked one on top of another would not reach the surface. The Sea King lives there with his people.
Au fond poussent des plantes souples parmi lesquelles nagent les poissons. Le château du roi est en corail, avec des fenêtres d'ambre clair. Son toit est fait de coquillages qui s'ouvrent et se ferment. Chacun contient une perle magnifique.
Soft plants grow on the seabed, and fish swim among them. The king’s castle is made of coral, with windows of light amber. Its roof is made of shells that open and close. Each one holds a beautiful pearl.
