Scene 1 · Beginner

A tengerkirály palotája

The Sea King's castle

Hungarian

Messze az óceánon nagyon mély és tiszta volt a kék víz. A tenger fenekét még a leghosszabb kötéllel sem lehetett elérni. Ott élt a tengerkirály és a népe.

English translation

Far out in the ocean, the blue water was very deep and clear. Even the longest rope could not reach the sea floor. The Sea King and his people lived there.

Hungarian

Lent nemcsak homok volt. Különös virágok és növények nőttek mindenfelé, és halak úsztak az ágaik között. A legmélyebb helyen állt a király gyönyörű palotája. Falai korallból, ablakai sárga borostyánból készültek. A tetőn kagylók nyíltak és csukódtak a vízben. Mindegyikben egy csillogó gyöngy volt.

English translation

There was more than sand below. Strange flowers and plants grew everywhere, and fish swam among their branches. The king’s beautiful palace stood in the deepest place. Its walls were made of coral, and its windows of yellow amber. Shells on the roof opened and closed in the water. Each one held a shining pearl.
