Scene 1 · Beginner
Long ago, a king lived with his beautiful daughters. His youngest daughter was especially beautiful. Near his castle was a large, dark forest. Beneath an old tree there was a well.
On hot days, the princess liked to go into the forest and sit by the cool well. When she got bored, she played with her golden ball. She tossed the ball into the air and caught it again. It was her favorite toy.
