A porcelánpalota
The porcelain palace
Hungarian
Ez a történet sok-sok évvel ezelőtt játszódott Kínában, ahol a császár és udvarának minden tagja kínai volt. Érdemes most elmesélni, mielőtt végleg feledésbe merül.
English translation
This story took place many, many years ago in China, where the emperor and every member of his court was Chinese. It is worth telling now, before it is forgotten forever.
Hungarian
A császáré volt a világ legszebb palotája. Teljes egészében porcelánból épült, ezért amilyen értékes volt, olyan törékeny is. Mindenhez óvatosan kellett hozzányúlni. A kertben különleges virágok nőttek, amelyekre apró ezüstcsengőket kötöttek. Csilingelésük minden arra járó figyelmét a virágokra irányította.
English translation
The emperor owned the most beautiful palace in the world. It was built entirely of porcelain, so it was as fragile as it was valuable. Everything had to be handled carefully. Special flowers grew in the garden, with tiny silver bells tied to them. Their tinkling drew everyone who passed by to look at the flowers.
Hungarian
Ebben a kertben minden rendkívüli volt. Olyan messzire nyúlt, hogy még a kertész sem tudta pontosan, hol ér véget.
English translation
Everything in this garden was extraordinary. It stretched so far that even the gardener did not know exactly where it ended.
