Porselensslottet
The porcelain palace
English translation
Many years ago, something strange happened at the emperor’s court in China. It’s a story worth telling before it’s forgotten.
Norwegian
Keiseren bodde i verdens vakreste slott.
English translation
The emperor lived in the most beautiful palace in the world. It was built entirely of costly porcelain and was so fragile that you had to be careful when you touched it. In the garden grew flowers with little silver bells attached to them. The bells jingled whenever anyone walked by, so no one could help noticing the flowers.
English translation
The garden stretched so far that even the gardener didn’t know where it ended.
