Keiseren elsker nye klær

The emperor loves new clothes

English translation

Many years ago, there lived an emperor who loved new clothes. He spent all his money on clothes and liked to go out in his carriage and show them off. He had little interest in his soldiers or the theater.

English translation

He had a coat for every hour of the day, so when people looked for him, they often said, “The emperor is in his room changing clothes.”
