El burro parte hacia Bremen

The donkey leaves for Bremen

English translation

A man had a donkey that had tirelessly carried sacks of grain to the mill for many years. Over time, however, the animal began to grow weak, and working became harder and harder for him. His owner began to think about how he could save himself the expense of feeding him.

English translation

The donkey sensed the danger and ran away. He took the road to Bremen with an idea in mind: “I’m sure I can earn my living there as a town musician.”
