Den onde troldmands spejl
The wicked magician's mirror
English translation
Once there was a wicked sorcerer who was very pleased with a mirror he had made. In the mirror, everything good and beautiful shrank to almost nothing. Everything ugly, on the other hand, grew larger and looked ten times worse than before. Even the loveliest landscape ended up looking like boiled spinach.
English translation

The sorcerer chuckled with delight at his invention, and the students at his school of magic spread the word about it. According to them, you could finally see the world and its inhabitants as they really were.
