An einem heißen Sommertag ist ein Fuchs in einem Obstgarten unterwegs. Hoch über ihm hängen Trauben, die gerade reif werden.
On a hot summer’s day, a fox is walking through an orchard. Grapes that are just ripening hang high above him.
„Die sind genau richtig gegen meinen Durst“, sagt er.
“They’re just what I need to quench my thirst,” he says.
Um an die Trauben zu kommen, geht er ein paar Schritte zurück und nimmt Anlauf. Er springt hoch, verfehlt sie aber knapp.
To reach the grapes, he backs up a few steps and takes a running start. He jumps up, but just misses them.
Noch einmal geht er zurück. „Eins, zwei, drei!“, zählt er. Dann springt er erneut, doch auch diesmal erreicht er die Trauben nicht.
He backs up once more. “One, two, three!” he counts. Then he jumps again, but still can’t reach the grapes.
