The porcelain palace
English translation
This story happened in China a very long time ago. Let us hear it now, before it is forgotten. The emperor had the most beautiful palace in the world. It was built entirely of porcelain, a very expensive but fragile material, so everyone had to be careful when touching it.
English translation
Unusual flowers grew in the garden, with little silver bells tied to them. Their sound drew every passerby’s attention to the beauty of the flowers. The garden was full of wonderful things and stretched so far that even the gardener himself did not know where it ended.
