Scene 1 · Intermediate
Long ago, there lived a little girl whom everyone loved. Her grandmother loved her most of all and would have given anything for her granddaughter. One day, she gave her a hood made of red velvet. The girl looked so good in it that she never wanted to wear any other kind of head covering. That was why everyone began to call her Little Red Riding Hood.
Choose Intermediate when you can follow connected storytelling in Polish and want more of the original story’s detail and nuance. Read a passage for its overall meaning, then return to unfamiliar expressions with the English translation and audio. Compare the Beginner edition when you want a gentler read.
Intermediate is LingoPlasty’s most detailed story band, rather than a formal B1 or B2 classification. If you study at B1 or B2, use the sample to judge the reading challenge. The same story may be available at Beginner if you prefer more support.
