Scene 1 · Beginner
One summer day, the Grasshopper was hopping through a field and singing happily. The Ant was passing by. He was struggling to drag an ear of grain to the anthill.
“Let’s talk! Why are you working so hard?” asked the Grasshopper.
“I’m helping gather food for the winter,” replied the Ant. “You should do the same.”
But the Grasshopper was not worried about winter, because there was plenty of food now. The Ant went on his way and continued working.
