Scene 1 · Beginner
One hot summer day, a fox was walking through an orchard. There he saw a bunch of grapes on a high branch. The grapes were already beginning to ripen. The fox was thirsty, and he decided to get the grapes.
The fox stepped back a few paces, took a running start, and jumped, but he fell just short of the grapes. Then he stepped back again, counted to three, and jumped once more. But this time, too, he couldn't reach the grapes.
