English translation
A very wicked magician makes a special mirror. In the mirror, everything beautiful and good seems small and worthless. But ugly things grow enormous and even uglier. Even the most beautiful people look strange and almost impossible to recognize.

Il mago ride, felice della sua invenzione. Anche i suoi allievi la trovano meravigliosa. Dicono che lo specchio mostra finalmente il mondo e le persone come sono davvero.

The magician laughs, delighted with his invention. His students think it is wonderful too. They say the mirror finally shows the world and people as they really are.
