Scene 1 · Beginner
A man who knew the law well stood up to test Jesus.
“Teacher, what should I do to live forever?” the man asked.
”Vad står det i lagen? Hur förstår du det?” frågade Jesus.
“What is written in the law? How do you understand it?” Jesus asked.
The man answered that you should love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your strength. You should also love your neighbor. That means loving other people as much as you love yourself.
”Du har svarat rätt”, sa Jesus. ”Gör så, så kommer du att leva.”
“You have answered correctly,” Jesus said. “Do this, and you will live.”
