English translation
“Teacher, what must I do to receive eternal life, to live forever?” he asked.

Jesús le preguntó: «¿Qué dice la ley? ¿Cómo la entiendes?».
English translation
Jesus asked him, “What does the law say? How do you understand it?”

El experto respondió: «Debes amar al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón, con toda tu alma, con todas tus fuerzas y con toda tu mente. También debes amar a tu prójimo, a las otras personas, como te amas a ti mismo».
English translation
The expert replied, “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind. You must also love your neighbor, other people, as you love yourself.”
