Scene 1 · Beginner
Men farao sagde nej.
Moses and Aaron asked Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, to let the Israelites go. But Pharaoh said no.
The God of the Israelites said to Moses, “Go down to the river early tomorrow morning. You will meet Pharaoh there. Take the staff that turned into a snake.”
Moses was to ask Pharaoh to let the people go into the desert so they could serve God. Pharaoh had yet to listen. Now God would show him who he was. When the staff struck the water, the water would turn to blood. The fish would die, and the water would smell so bad that the Egyptians would refuse to drink it.
God also told Moses to tell Aaron to stretch his staff out over the waters of Egypt. Then all the water would turn to blood, even the water in people’s containers.
