Moses and Aaron spoke on behalf of the Israelites before Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. He did not want to let the people go.
Hasta ahora no has escuchado.
God sent Moses to meet Pharaoh in the morning, by the river. He had to take the staff that had turned into a snake. God gave him this message for the king: “Let my people go so they can serve me in the wilderness. Until now, you have not listened. The river water will turn into blood.”
“The fish will die, the river will stink, and the Egyptians will not be able to drink its water.”
Aaron also received an order from God: he had to stretch out his staff over all the waters of Egypt. All the water would turn into blood, even the water in containers.
