Scene 1 · Beginner
Men farao vägrade.
Moses and Aaron spoke to Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, to persuade him to let the Israelites go. But Pharaoh refused.
God told Moses to meet Pharaoh at the river the next morning. Moses was to take the staff that had turned into a snake.
“Tell Pharaoh that I want my people to be allowed to go out into the desert and serve me,” God said. “When the water in the river turns to blood, he will understand who I am.”
God also said that Aaron was to hold his staff over the water in Egypt. Then the water would turn to blood, even the water people had at home.
