Un angelo fa visita a Maria
An angel visits Mary

English translation
Gabriel greets Mary: “Rejoice, Mary! God is with you and has blessed you.”
Italian
Maria è molto preoccupata e non capisce quel saluto. L'angelo le dice:
«Non avere paura. Dio ti vuole bene.
English translation
Mary is very worried and does not understand this greeting. The angel tells her:
“Do not be afraid. God loves you. You will have a son and name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of God. God will make him king, like his ancestor David. He will reign forever over the people of Jacob.”
Italian
«Come è possibile? Sono vergine», risponde Maria.
English translation
“How is that possible? I am a virgin,” Mary replies.
English translation
